Avoid snacks Dried Fruits and Nuts When To Thin

Dried fruit and nuts are often used as a substitute for chocolate snack while relaxing.But when you are dieting and want to lose weight, you should avoid eating dried fruitand nuts.

Research shows that the dried fruit and nut snacks can actually gain weight and should be avoided for people who are doing weight-loss program.

Studies conducted by the site SupermarketOwnBrandGuide have found that beansoften contain unhealthy saturated fats, while dried fruits usually contain high sugar.

Reported Dailymail, Wednesday (01/05/2011), only 100 grams of Brazil nuts contains16.4 grams of saturated fat, three-quarters of the recommended daily intake for women.

While a handful of raisins contains 69 grams of sugar, more than three-quarters of the recommended amount. For comparison, 100 grams of chocolate contains 47.8 grams of sugar.

The recommended daily amount of sugar for adults is 90 grams. And please note than 100 grams of dried fruits are popular as raisins, grapes and dried dates, all containover 64 grams of sugar.

"The research we do because many people who make New Year's resolution by replacing the chocolate snack with dried fruit and nuts to make it more healthy and lose weight. But the real nuts and dried fruit also contain lots of saturated fat and sugar," explains Martin Isark, SupermarketOwnBrandGuide founder of the site.
